Exotic Cellar Terms & Conditions
Wines may be sold and delivered only to persons over the age of 21. By ordering from this Site, you affirm that you are at least 21 years of age.
The following terms and conditions govern your use of the website www.exoticcellar.com, which shall include, without limitation, this website and any other Exotic Cellar owned websites, micro-sites, social media pages, accounts, applications, and services. (collectively, “Exotic Cellar”, the “Site”, or “we”).
 
We may change the Terms and Conditions from time to time and at any time without notice to you, by posting such changes on this site. BY USING THIS SITE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS APPLIED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you may not access or otherwise use the Site. By using the Site following any modifications to the Terms and Conditions, you agree to be bound by any such modifications to the Terms and Conditions.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Customer satisfaction is our strong priority, however, we can only accept cancellations if they are made within the same business day that the order was placed.  We do NOT accept returns of wine or oils if you change your mind on an order, do not like the product, want to return a gift, or if you overbought and want to return excess items from a previous purchase.
 
If our Vendors made an error by sending you an incorrect wine, or if you received a corked or otherwise flawed wine, please email us immediately at info@exoticcellar.com. Please provide your order number and explain the reasons for your return request. We will review the specific circumstances on an individual basis, and make a determination in a timely manner of whether the return request meets acceptable criteria, as listed in our Policy. Should our Vendor accept responsibility for the error or flaw, we will either exchange the bottle(s) or issue a credit for the applicable amount.
Delivery Fee & Severe Weather Advisory
Due to handling, packaging and dispatch fees the price for delivery of 1 bottle up to 20 cases (12 bottles per case) in England is a flat fee of £12.50. 
 
If a customer provides incorrect shipping address information which causes a failed delivery attempt, common carriers charge a £10 penalty for re-packaging and address corrections, which will also be billed back to the customer.
 
Unfortunately severe weather conditions can impact the delivery date of your order. Prolonged exposure to heat and freezing temperatures can damage wine. Carriers do not insure against heat or cold damage, and we are unable to take responsibility for such damages after your wine has safely left the locations of our Vendors.
 
You are solely responsible for determining when and by what method you wish to have your order delivered—so be aware of weather conditions before shipping an order. That being said, our Vendors do reserve the right to withhold an order if they have clear reason to believe weather conditions are severe enough to significantly endanger the safety of your wine. In such a case, we will notify you of the delay.
